The Deep Ellum Arts Festival continues today in downtown Dallas at Crowdus St. and Main St.  Enjoy food, music and art!  It goes until 11pm tonight.

 Its the Big Texas Beer Fest 2014 at the Fair Park Automobile Building 1010 First Ave.  Its going until 6:30pm today and cost $35.

Booker T Jones is performing at the Granada Theater tonight at 7pm.  3524 Greenville Ave.  Tickets are $25 to $60

 The Texas Legends play the Idaho Stampede today at Dr. Pepper Arena 2601 Avenue of the stars in Frisco.  The game is at 7pm and you can purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com

 Donnell Rawlings is in standup tonight at the Improv in Addison.  4980 Beltline Rd. #250.  He's got shows at 7pm and 9:30pm.    Tickets are $30

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share.  It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.  Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date.  Its at 4520 Frankford Rd. Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas.  The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00..  www.ticketmaster.com  for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy.  She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm.  You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St.  The cost is $10 to get in. Its Wine Down Wednesdays at Chiladas Fresh Mex Grill in Plano, 6145 Windhaven Pkwy, Suite 120 from 4pm to 7pm.  Glasses of wine are $3. You can have a great time tonight at The Prophet Bar for their open mic!  Enjoy the best in local talent, and DJ Jay Clipp is in the mix, and RC and the Gritz will be performing.
