I know as of late this place has been known to be one of the Friday Happy Hour hot spots, but for me, it just is not up to par. First off, when you come in, they have all the tables already reserved. Its a happy hour... People come to unwind after work. They treat it more like a club atmosphere. Then they have the entire front row of parking spaces blocked off for valet purposes.. Again, it is supposed to be a Happy Hour, you just want to get in, unwind with some cold drinks, network, have fun, and leave. I've been to this place other times and it was a pleasant experience. I'm vegan and can still find things to eat here. The drinks are pretty water'd down and overpriced though, but the presentation is nice. The atmosphere, however is nice and swanky so for a date, maybe a first date, its an ok place.  But that Friday happy hour, no bueno! My recent visit here was for somewhat of a date, I had planned to meet a friend, and I did, but the place was so uncomfortab...

I met a guy on facebook through mutual friends.  He seemed decent.  Educated, professional, well traveled, and consistent in phone and text so I agreed to meet him for drinks this week.  He turned out to be a douche..  But anyway to the drinks..  We went to Houlihans in Addison.. Houlihans has the best agave margarita.  I know this is a popular place and most people know about it, but their margaritas deserve some praise.  Also the service was fantastic. I didnt have any appetizers, as they didn't seem vegan friendly..  But my date devoured their wings and Parmesan fries! Thumbs up for happy hour at this place.  If you're vegan plan to eat a salad.. As for my date...  In between his trying to grab my back side at every chance, and also showing up with pamphlets and a full on sales pitch attempting to get me to spend my hard earned cash purchasing items from his side hustle, his company was entertaining in a Barnum and Ba...

The Dallas Stars take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight 7:30pm at American Airlines Center.  2500 Victory Ave., Dallas. A cool swanky place to check out and unwind at tonight would be the V Lounge at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood  in Dallas.  4023 Oak Lawn Ave. #110  They have live music via a band called the Westsiders from 6pm to 10pm. There is also an Eddie V’s in Fort Worth.  Its at 3100 W. 7 th St . At Barcadia in Dallas, tonight they have half priced food and its happy hour all night.  1917 N. Henderson. At Barcadia in Fort Worth, they have Free Play and also Happy Hour all night!  816 Matisse Dr. I know a lot of people are thrown off because of daylight savings time..  Get out and unwind.  Xoxo

Happy Hour at Blue Sushi Sake Grills Sake Bombers Lounge.  3131 W. 7 th St. Fort Worth.  Its from 3pm to 6:30pm $5 select maki, discounted appetizers and $3 Sapporo Sake Bombs. Opening Bell Coffee will have live Classical music today at 8pm.  1409 S. Lamar St., Dallas.  Warehouse, A Dave Matthews tribute band, will be playing tonight at the Blue Martini in Plano.  7301 Lone Star Dr.  They go on about 8pm You can go see Cats at Casa Manana Theatre.  3101 W. The Dallas Mavericks go up against the Houston Rockets at 7:30pm at the American Airlines Center.  2500 Victory Ave., Dallas.  www.ticketmaster.com for tickets. There is a Paint and Sip event tonight in Arlington at the Fox and the Hound, 1001 NE Green Oaks Blvd.  As with all Paint and Sip events you get Paints, Paint Brushes, a Smock and Canvas and you’re instructed by a professional artist.  The event starts at 7pm and cost $45.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you can still go and see the beautiful displays at the Chinese Lantern Festival at Fair Park, 1200 S. It’s Adult Lego Night at Legoland Discovery Center!  3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy., in Grapevine.  Its from 7pm to 9pm and cost $12.99 to get in. A new Monday night event is starting fresh today!  May be great to unwind after work!  Its Magnum Mondays at WORK Bar and Grill!  New to Deep Ellum.  2618 Elm St., Dallas.  $4 drink specials, a rustic atmosphere, and BBQ!  Get there about 8pm. The Alcove is a great little trendy bar.  Very comfy, and a great place to relax off your work day stress.  2907 State St., Dallas. Joe Cajun.  Not really a fancy place but evidently this place has the best crawfish in Arlington.  1115 E. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington.  Even if you don’t get out and go, I think this place is worthy of bookmarking for crawfish season. Scat Jazz Lounge is going to be having the smooth sounds of Open Standard featuring Ricki Derek tonight.  111 W. 4 th St., #11 in Fort Worth.   Get there about 8pm.  Chill and enjoy. This place is kinda cool if you like Louisiana Style Daiquiris….  May also be noteworthy to remember for the summer.  The Daiquiri Shop 692 W.
