I Love Top Golf! Review...

I went to TopGolf this weekend!  I'd been wanting to go for a long time now, and my date suggested it so I was game! I had so much fun on this date.   Their drinks are good, playing is simple and its really fun, even if you're a non golfer, they had good music bumping, the section that we had was large, even when we waited at the bar for our section to be ready, the drinks we ordered there were great! Its lots of TV's and the Cowboys were on.   It was just a great time.  The facility is nice and cool.  They even have vegan options to eat!  The only thing about this place, like a lot of places here in Texas, they blocked off a rediculous amount of parking spaces for valet purposes.  I drove around for 5 minutes looking for a space.  I was almost tempted to use the valet but it just seemed to bougee for this sort of date.  Plus I've had bad experiences with valet parking my car so I avoid it at all cost.  Also, they had this guy on a cart monitoring the parking

Review/Mercy Wine Bar Addison

I loved this place.  This is a past due review, I went here back in July, but just remembered and thought I'd review it.   I'd describe the atmosphere as chill and swanky.  It was a live band playing, I believe the band was the Paul Breedlove Band, and the music was really good.  The music is relateable for most crowds, I'd describe it as jazz pop.  It was upbeat and fun but still chill.   The sexy, professional crowd could appreciate this place for releasing stress.  The lighting is dim, the decor is hot, I'd highly suggest valeting your car if you go.   May as well, the parking in this area is wack .  Anyway, keeping in line with the name of the place, my date and I had red wine to drink.  He was a minister, but hey they drank wine in the Bible!  So I'm not judging.  All in all, I think this place makes a great date night spot.  Its also a great spot to pregame as well.

Review/Date Night at Ida Claire

My date made reservations for us to sit outside on the patio.  This actually was a pretty great place for a date night.  The scenery on the patio was nice, the lighting was dim, very perfect for a sexy date.   The food here is kinda hit or miss though in my opinion.  Think of the food as boogie meets somebody's country aunt who is still learning to cook.  My date ordered chicken and waffles, and he seemed very pleased.  I ordered the ancient grain and shrimp bowl, minus the shrimp and feta cheese (keeping in line with vegan life) and I ordered the fried green tomatoes in an attempt to replace the shrimp..  Which was a bad idea.  The fried green tomatoes were slimy and just gross.  My date tried them also and he almost threw up...  But the ancient grain bowl alone was delicious.  It put me in the mind frame of fancy, boogie trail mix.  I love trail mix..  Also the drinks were damn good.  We both had hurricane punches, and we both had more than one.  They were very tasty and the

Yardhouse in Addison/Review

I had a date here this past Sunday..  If you just want a one word review of this place, and do not want to read I will tell you this...  This place is awesome!!  I had the midnight sangria to drink...  Well, I had like 3 of them...  Anyhow, they very refreshing and flavorful, and I had a fantastic buzz.  My date had something with vodka in it that he liked, I dont recall what it was but he had 3 as well.  We also had appetizers.  I was lucky enough to go on a date with someone who is also vegan which was just awesome!  Anyhow we had humus with celery and carrots, and the hot and spicy edamame which was really... REALLY good..   Also, this place had a huge selection of beer which was nice.  Not really my thing, but if its yours, its there.  And the rest of the menu looked awesome as well.   The ambiance in the restaurant is perfect for a date.  Its very dimly lit, the seating is comfortable, the wait staff is very delightful, I would describe it as sexy-chill-swanky..

Friday Happy Hour at Kona Grill in Plano... My thoughts..

I know as of late this place has been known to be one of the Friday Happy Hour hot spots, but for me, it just is not up to par. First off, when you come in, they have all the tables already reserved. Its a happy hour... People come to unwind after work. They treat it more like a club atmosphere. Then they have the entire front row of parking spaces blocked off for valet purposes.. Again, it is supposed to be a Happy Hour, you just want to get in, unwind with some cold drinks, network, have fun, and leave. I've been to this place other times and it was a pleasant experience. I'm vegan and can still find things to eat here. The drinks are pretty water'd down and overpriced though, but the presentation is nice. The atmosphere, however is nice and swanky so for a date, maybe a first date, its an ok place.  But that Friday happy hour, no bueno! My recent visit here was for somewhat of a date, I had planned to meet a friend, and I did, but the place was so uncomfortab
