Comedy Crawl, Cabernet tasting and happy hour, Stars vs Flames, Live Music, Line Dancing!! Lots to choose from!!

It may be a great evening to go to a haunted house!  Check out the Boneyard in Arlington 2921 E Division St.  It opens at 7pm.



Tonight would be another great night to go on a hay ride date at Halls Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze.  Its still $5 per ride.  3420 Hall Johnson Rd.  Closes at 8pm.

 Fratelli Ristorante and Wine Bar is having a Cabernet and Petite Syrah tasting tonight.  $25 and the wine will be served with tapas, antipasti, cheese and fruit for the happy hour.  I think this is a great way to unwind on a Thursday night!

The Dallas Observers Comedy Crawl is tonight.  Go bar hop with comedians in Deep Ellum.  It starts at 8 at the Green Room, then to the Anvil Pub at 8:30pm, Then to Twilight Lounge and Finally Three Links Deep Ellum.  Its free, (with the exception of your extra curriculars…)  The jokes should stop around 11pm.  The Green Room is at 2715 Elm St. Dallas.  And Three Links is at 2704 Elm St.  Dallas.  Get out and laugh!!

Like Mellow High?   They’re performing at Dada.  2720 Elm St. Dallas.  $12-$15.  Show starts at 8pm.

The Alex Cannon Quartet will be at Scat Jazz Lounge tonight 111 W. Fouth St. Fort Worth.  Think Classical Jazz.  9pm.



Tonight, Dylan Moran is going to be doing stand up at the Lakewood Theater.  1626 Abrams Rd.  Dallas.  Show starts at 8pm

Want to learn to line dance?  There will be lessons tonight at Billy Bob’s Texas 2520 Rodeo Plaza. Fort Worth.  Admission is $2.  And it starts at 7pm.

Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas.  The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00..  www.ticketmaster.com  for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy.  She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm.  You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St.  The cost is $10 to get in. Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share.  It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.  Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date.  Its at 4520 Frankford Rd.
