Easy Apple Crisp Recipe!

So since we're all for the most part not going to be able to get out and about to do anything fun given our weather.. I figured I would post a delicious and easy Apple Crisp recipe that you can make and enjoy with your love at home. Or, you can make this for any upcoming holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

10 cups all-purpose apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter, melted

This will make 12 servings and you need 1 12x13 inch pan.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degree C).
Place the sliced apples in a 9x13 inch pan.
Mix the white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and ground cinnamon together, and sprinkle over apples.
Pour water evenly over all.
Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter together.
Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 45 minutes.

Grab some vanilla ice cream, a movie, cuddle up and chill and enjoy! Xoxo

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap. My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression. Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants. Its not always about money when wowing a woman. Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share. It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria. Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date. Its at 4520 Frankford Rd. Suite 400 in Dallas. Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas. The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00.. www.ticketmaster.com for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy. She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm. You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St. The cost is $10 to get in. Its Wine Down Wednesdays at Chiladas Fresh Mex Grill in Plano, 6145 Windhaven Pkwy, Suite 120 from 4pm to 7pm. Glasses of wine are $3.
