Funny Man Brian Posehn is doing stand up tonight at Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub 605 Houston St, Fort Worth. It cost $10 and he goes on at 9pm.

Go be entertained at Poetry Smash 2 at the Clarence Muse Café Theater 650 S. Griffin Street in the Dallas Convention Center Theater Complex. The entertainment starts at 7:30pm.

The Dallas Comedy House is putting on a show tonight called the “Improvised Christmas Movie”. It should be hilarious. It will cost $11.50 and the address is 2645 Commerce St, Dallas. Its going to go on every Thursday and Friday until December 26^th so if you want to see it later, you can.

Buttons in Fort Worth will have Motown Christmas with Legacy 4 tonight from 7:30pm to 10pm. 4701 W. Fwy is the address. Eat good and hear good music!

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be performing tonight at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, 2301 Flora St. They go on at 8pm.

Kush Mediterranean Reastauran and Hookah Bar is doing a Paint Night tonight! Sip, paint, be merry! It cost $45 and the address is 2100 Greenville Ave, Dallas. The fun starts at 7pm. I know these paint sessions can be slightly costly, so don’t fret, if you can go to one I post today, I will post others later.

I love Acoustic Guitar. Walt Wilkins will be performing with his tonight at Hat Tricks Sports Bar and Music Venue, 101 E. Corporate Dr, Lewisville. He does on at 8pm and its free.

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap. My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression. Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants. Its not always about money when wowing a woman. Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share. It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria. Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date. Its at 4520 Frankford Rd. Suite 400 in Dallas.
