The Classical Open Mic continues this week at Buzzbrews Kitchen 4334 Lemmon Ave, Dallas. Its free and starts at 8pm! Eat, drink and be merry to the sounds of local classical musicians jamming it out!

The Dallas Comedy House Open Mic also continues tonight at 8pm 2645 Commerce St, Dallas. It is also free!

There is an open mic at White Rock Coffee 10105 E. Northwest Hwy, Dallas. Its free and also starts at 8pm.

The Addison Improv is having their Funniest Comedian in Texas Battle! You can go watch fellow Texans duke it out for your giggles! It starts at 8pm and is $10 to get in. 4980 Belt Line Rd, Addison.

Ninja Night! Go to the Crow Collection of Asian Art and learn the art of self defense Ninja Style! Its from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at 2010 Flora St, Dallas.

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap. My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression. Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants. Its not always about money when wowing a woman. Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share. It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria. Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date. Its at 4520 Frankford Rd. Suite 400 in Dallas.
