Dallas/Fort Worth! Future in Concert, Corner Pocket at the DMA, Freebies Tonight!!

Future is in concert at the Southside Music Hall in Dallas!  1135 South Lamar.  The concert starts at 9pm.  Tickets start at about $40 on www.ticketmaster.com


Awesome Jazz Band Corner Pocket is performing tonight at the Dallas Museum of Art's Jazz in the Atrium.  1717 N. Harwood., Dallas.  Its from 6pm to 8pm and its free to get in.  You may purchase food and drinks if you desire.


Tonights outdoor concert at the Arboretum is "A Hard Nights Day".  Its free, there will be food trucks on site.  No liquor will be sold there, however you may bring your own.  Bring blankets and or lawn chairs and your boo!  8525 Garland Road, and the concert starts at 7:30pm.


"Til Midnight at Nasher"!  2001 Flora Street., Dallas.  There will be movie screenings, live music, and Nasher Cafe featuring food by Wolfgang Puck!  This is a great place to hang with your boo on a Thursday Night!  Plus you can see the sculptures at the Nasher Sculpture Center.  It starts at 6pm.


Fun or possibly funny :) Get your fitness on with your boo and take a ballet class at the Texas Ballet Theater.  1540 Mall Circle., Fort Worth.  Class starts at 6pm and is $10.  All fitness levels are welcome.

Hash House A Go Go

THIS PLACE!!  My mouth is watering just thinking about this place.  😋😋  I went here this weekend for brunch.  I suggested going some place else, but I'm glad I gave in. For starters, before going I looked at their menu online and noticed they had Indiana themed menu items.  I'm from Indiana, so I figured it was somewhere I needed to visit.  Although one of their Indiana themed dishes was meatloaf and Eggs..  Let me inform my readers, WE DO NOT EAT MEATLOAF WITH EGGS IN INDIANA!  Do not order that dish and then blame it on us when you get the runs later! 😂😂  But I promise the food is delicious, I just wouldn't suggest eating that. I had the scramble with house smoked salmon, basil pesto and melted brie cheese.  I got it with breakfast potatoes and a home made biscuit.  Delicious is not a strong enough word..  Also it was enough food for 3 people.  I also had a spiked kiwi watermelon lemonade to drink instead...

Chop Shop Irving! Delicious clean food!

This entry is going to take a turn back to the old days and what this blog was originally created for..  To highlight great places for a date.  I think I've had enough of dishing all of my business to you all..  Sorry :-) I was over in Irving, hungry, and looking for some REAL FOOD so I drove around and stumbled upon the Original Chop Shop.  Evidently it has been there since 2013..  But I'm rarely in Irving so.. Its all good clean food!  Delicious and well made, and there are vegan options!  I got the Green Curry Tofu bowl and it was good and filling.  I had a lot leftover to bring home with me too.  For carnivores, yes they do have menu offerings with chicken, steak, and shrimp.  I had their ginger strawberry lemonade to drink and it was the absolute best lemonade I've ever had in my life!  I should've known it was going to be good too because when I ordered it one of the employees got excited for me!  Lol. ...

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share.  It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.  Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date.  Its at 4520 Frankford Rd. Suite 400 in Dallas. It seemed really intimate, unassuming, the pizza was great and they even have a tv in case you wan...
