Donnell Rawlings live in Standup, Dallas Stars, The Ranch, Live Jazz...

If you still would like to see the Nutcracker…  It is possible!  The Nutcracker goes on stage tonight at 8pm at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, 525 Commerce St.  Tickets are $20 to $180.



Super super funny guy Donnell Rawlings is going to be live in stand up at the Improv in Arlington at 8pm tonight.  Tickets are $30.  www.improv.com for more information.




 Rhymin N Stealin’, a Beastie Boys Tribute, takes place tonight at the House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St, Dallas.  8pm is the start time.  www.hob.com for more information.

 Natural Change is performing live at Buttons Fort Worth Tonight at 8:30pm 4701 W. Fwy.  Also, as always there will be live music at Buttons in Dallas as well.  Both places are great date night spots.  15207 Addison Rd.

 I personally think the Ranch at Las Colinas is a great place to go unwind on a date night with your love.  Their food is great, they have a great wine selection and they usually have some live music.  857 West John Carpenter Freeway, Irving.

Also, live jazz and food can be enjoyed at Soho Food and Jazz.  Tonight the Tony and Leon Trio will be playing.  I’ve never heard of them, but you can go wrong with jazz, food and your boo on a Friday night!  5290 Belt Line Rd #102B, Dallas.

John Legend, Tamar Braxton, Modi, Wine, Rock!! Something for Everyone!!!

If you didn’t know..  John Legend and Tamar Braxton will be in concert tonight at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie 1001 Performance Pl.  Tickets are $41.50 to $71.50..  Go to ticketmaster.com to buy tickets and the show starts at 8pm. You could go hang out and Jack Mac’s Swill and Grill where they will be giving away the glasses.  Order a community brew and they are giving you the glass to take home!  7 is a good time to get there and they are located at 19009 Preston Rd.  Dallas Two Cow Garage is performing tonight at the Magnolia Motor Lounge 3005 Morton St.  Fort Worth.  Show starts at 10pm, go listen to great live rock, drink, eat, and hang out! Big Mike of Rap a Lot Records will be performing again tonight at the Woodshed Smokehouse 3201 Riverfront Dr.  Fort Worth.  The show tonight is at 6pm. Chop Shop Irving! Delicious clean food!

This entry is going to take a turn back to the old days and what this blog was originally created for..  To highlight great places for a date.  I think I've had enough of dishing all of my business to you all..  Sorry :-) I was over in Irving, hungry, and looking for some REAL FOOD so I drove around and stumbled upon the Original Chop Shop.  Evidently it has been there since 2013..  But I'm rarely in Irving so.. Its all good clean food!  Delicious and well made, and there are vegan options!  I got the Green Curry Tofu bowl and it was good and filling.  I had a lot leftover to bring home with me too.  For carnivores, yes they do have menu offerings with chicken, steak, and shrimp.  I had their ginger strawberry lemonade to drink and it was the absolute best lemonade I've ever had in my life!  I should've known it was going to be good too because when I ordered it one of the employees got excited for me!  Lol. ...
