Tonight the Dallas Stars go up against the Chicago Blackhawks at American Airlines Center 2500 Victory Ave.  Dallas at 8pm.  Go to www.ticketmaster.com for tickets. You can bundle up real good, grab some warm Peppermint Mocha’s from Starbucks (Or make a batch of my recipe for warm hard cider and grab some thermal to go cups…  See previous post from earlier for the recipe) and go see theVitruvian Lights in Addison at Vitruvian Park 3850 Vitruvian Way in Addison.  You can go as early as six, I suggest waiting a little later to make sure the sun is down and go enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights!  Its free!  Also a great place to go if you have kids and need them to walk off some energy. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will be performing tonight at the House of Blues 2200 N Lamar St.  Dallas.  The show starts at 7pm and cost $25 to $35. Blues artist Elvis T. Busboy will be performing tonight at Keys Lounge 5677 Westcreek Dr....

Now I don’t have a whole lot today, as it is the holidays and most people are with family…  But if you and your boo aren’t hanging out with family, or you just need to get out and have some alone time together, here are a few things to do.. The Golden State Warriors play the Dallas Mavericks tonight at 7:30pm at American Airlines Center in Dallas.  www.ticketmaster.com for tickets. Hear the smooth soulful sounds of Gary Clark Jr.  at the House of Blues 2200 N. Lamar St.  Dallas.  Show starts at 8pm and is $25. Flo Hernandez is going to be doing standup tonight at Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub 605 Houston St. Fort Worth.  Its free, and the show starts at 8:30pm. There is a Jam Session/Open Mic tonight at The Prophet Bar 2548 Elm St.  Dallas.  This should be pretty fun to just hear locals jam it out! This will feature a band called RC and the Gritz and DJ Jay Clipp.  

It’s the last Monday of the month and also Adult Night at Legoland Discovery Center 3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy.  In Grapevine.  Its from 7pm to 9pm and its $12.99 to get in.   Must be 18 or older.  www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com Father John Misty is performing tonight at the House of Blues at 8pm 2200 N. Lamar St. Dallas.  $20.  Fyi, for those that do not know, he’s not an actual father he is a music artist… J I like football.  And I think a great way to relax off your Monday with your love is to head out to a great place to eat, drink and relax, and watch Monday Night Football.  Tonight it’s the Seahawks and the Rams.  On The Border is a very relaxing low key place with great food and drinks.  And the prices are pretty reasonable.  Plus its comfortable.  There are many locations so find the one closest to you on the website at www.ontheborder.com   The game of course is at 8:30pm Button...
