FLASHLIGHTS DFW

Yeah......  This is going to be my first completely bad review of any place I've been to.  For starters... My party and I sat on the patio.  The fact that there was patio seating was probably the only good thing about this place.  It was open seating out there.  We sat for a good 5 minutes before even seeing a waiter.  After that 5 minutes the waiters came out to tend to other patrons, including a couple that came after us might I add, but never got to us.  After watching 3 waiters come and go I said something and my friend went inside to get some attention.  From then on, our waiter was prompt though...  But the fact that we had to say something....No Bueno!   The drinks were watered down.  And my food was terrible.  I had the Shrimp and Crab Etouffee (not sure if thats how you spell it)..  Anyway...  It tasted like Karen was on kitchen duty.  It was disguisting.  Watery, and the shrimp tast...

This place is actually more than cool its kind of awesome!  I stumbled across this place for a daiquiri and was treated to a hookah!  And I like freebies so off the top this place gets a great review!   Like all daiquiri shops they had a plethora of daiquiri flavors to pick from.  I got my usual mixture of white russian and strawberry and it was superb.  You can get your daiquiri to go or stay.  I suggest you stay because from what I heard, the food is great too.   The hookah lounge area is ducked in the back with dim lighting and multiple tv's where they played sports.  There was a large selection of flavors to pick from, but they didn't have an actual menu, however the gentlemen there let me smell each flavor to make my decision.  I think this would be a great place for a date.  Or even just hanging out.  They also had a DJ which I thought was dope.   They're located at 2810 E Trinity Mills ...

This entry is going to take a turn back to the old days and what this blog was originally created for..  To highlight great places for a date.  I think I've had enough of dishing all of my business to you all..  Sorry :-) I was over in Irving, hungry, and looking for some REAL FOOD so I drove around and stumbled upon the Original Chop Shop.  Evidently it has been there since 2013..  But I'm rarely in Irving so.. Its all good clean food!  Delicious and well made, and there are vegan options!  I got the Green Curry Tofu bowl and it was good and filling.  I had a lot leftover to bring home with me too.  For carnivores, yes they do have menu offerings with chicken, steak, and shrimp.  I had their ginger strawberry lemonade to drink and it was the absolute best lemonade I've ever had in my life!  I should've known it was going to be good too because when I ordered it one of the employees got excited for me!  Lol. ...
