Dallas/Fort Worth.. Sigma Gamma Rholler Skate Night/School Supply Drop Off, Hookah, Happy Hour, Belly Dancing, Jazz in the Atrium at the DMA..


Tonight is the Sigma Gamma Rholler Skate Night Back to School Party at Rollerworld NE.  Bring and drop off school supplies for children in need, and skate.  Admission is $6.  5817 Denton Hwy. Fort Worth.  Its at 7pm.


At Byblos Meditteranean in Fort Worth tonight its Happy Hour, Hookahs and Belly Dancing.  1406 N. Main St.  Happy hour is from 5pm to 7pm.  The food is also great.

Tonight at Scat Jazz Lounge its Open Standard Featuring Ricki Derek.  Get there about 7pm.  111 West 4th St. Fort Worth.


There’s a free art exhibit at Kettle Art 2650 B Main St., Dallas.  Its called Artpocolypse, and its from 7pm to 10pm.  It’s the work of 4 different artist, its very opinionated, colorful and could be interesting.  But its free, its art, go get some culture.

Justin Timberlake, Luke Wade, Jam Sessions and More to do tonight!

Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas.  The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00..  www.ticketmaster.com  for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy.  She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm.  You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St.  The cost is $10 to get in. Its Wine Down Wednesdays at Chiladas Fresh Mex Grill in Plano, 6145 Windhaven Pkwy, Suite 120 from 4pm to 7pm.  Glasses of wine are $3. You can have a great time tonight at The Prophet Bar for their open mic!  Enjoy the best in local talent, and DJ Jay Clipp is in the mix, and RC and the Gritz will be performing. Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share.  It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.  Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date.  Its at 4520 Frankford Rd.
