Funny Man Deon Cole from Black Box on TBS and Shaq’s Allstar Comedy Jam is going to be doing standup tonight at the Improv in Addison.  4980 Beltline Rd., Dallas.  Go to www.improv.com for tickets.  Shows are at 8pm and 10:30pm and tickets are $20 to $30.



The extremely funny Rob Stapleton is doing standup tonight at the Improv in Arlington.  309 Curtis Mathes Way.  #147.  Also get tickets at www.improv.com.  His shows are at 8pm and 10:30pm.  Tickets are $17 to $27.

The Texas Food Truckin Fest!!  Its tonight at Rangers Ballpark from 4pm to 11pm.  1000 Ballpark Way.  Food Trucks, Music and it goes to benefit the Tarrant Area Food Bank.  The cost today is $10 and $5 for kids.  Tomorrow its $12 to get in…  But again, you may want to avoid this weekends storms..

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key.
