I only have a few things to do tonight its COLD!! And
this is the best time to be enjoying the warmth of your home with your
boo. But here goes!
The Denver Nuggets will be here to play our Dallas Mavericks
tonight at the American Airlines Center at 7:30pm 2500 Victory Ave,
Dallas. www.ticketmaster.com for tickets.
Its adult night at Legoland Discovery Center, 3000 Grapevine
Mills Pkwy, Grapevine. The cost is
$12.99 and the hours are from 7pm to 9pm.
So, if you would like to enjoy lego’s without the hassle of kids, this
may be for you!
And there is an Open Stage at the House of Poets 580 W.
Arapaho Rd, in Richardson at 7pm. You
can chill and enjoy, or get in on the action if you have skills.
If you have a fireplace, USE IT! If you see logs at your local gas station
stop and pick them up! During the holidays,
I like to sip on Warm Hard Cider. You
can get some at you local liquor store.
Prebrewed ciders heat up very well in the microwave. However, I recall having a hard time finding
hard cider last year during the holidays so if you have that problem, and its
obviously too late to start brewing some of your own, (it takes a few weeks) here
is my recipe for making your own..
1 jug of apple cider (any kind)
A bottle of vodka (any kind)
Pour one mug of apple cider to half a shot of vodka and put
in the microwave for about 1 minute. If
you would like a larger batch you can also boil the cider in a pot on your
stove.
Remember to eat a good meal with your boo, and enjoy! Later
