BB King is going to be in concert tonight at the Winspear Opera House 2403 Flora St. Dallas. The show starts at 8pm and you can purchase tickets at www.attpac.org click events, then click BB King.

Luke Wade is performing at the Live Oak Music Hall and Lounge 1311 Lipscomb St. Fort Worth. The show starts at 7pm and cost $15 to $25.

You could get out and enjoy some jazz, funk and hip hop at the Prophet Bar tonight 2548 Elm St. Dallas.

Also tonight, Chris Watson Band will be performing at Keys Lounge 5677 Westcreek Dr. H in Fort Worth. Their sound can be described as blues/rock. Should be fun!

And we have another paint and sip night! This one's at the Fox and the Hound 1001 NE Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington. It starts at 7pm and is $45.

Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap. My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression. Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants. Its not always about money when wowing a woman. Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share. It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.
