Winter Driving Tips For Texans

 



 

1. After a freeze and during freezing precipitation, until the temperature is above 35 degrees, don't drive above 35 mph.

2. Avoid highways

3. If you do slide, turn your wheel in to the direction that your car is sliding and repetitively tap your breaks.  This will help you gain control of your car.

4. Regardless of how fast others are going, go at your own pace..  They could have winter tires, an emergency situation or just not care that it's dangerous.

Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas.  The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00..  www.ticketmaster.com  for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy.  She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm.  You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St.  The cost is $10 to get in. Its Wine Down Wednesdays at Chiladas Fresh Mex Grill in Plano, 6145 Windhaven Pkwy, Suite 120 from 4pm to 7pm.  Glasses of wine are $3. You can have a great time tonight at The Prophet Bar for their open mic!  Enjoy the best in local talent, and DJ Jay Clipp is in the mix, and RC and the Gritz will be performing.
