I've been slacking on my posts.  I promise to post about the best spots though..  Like this place!  Russo's Coal Fired Italian Kitchen.


I went for a business lunch but I think this place would be an awesome spot for a date.  Its small, and intimate, has an old school italian bistro feel yet is still moderately swanky.  I had the baked ziti and house salad with vinaigrette.  The salad was huge and fresh.  The vinaigrette was a house vinaigrette to die for!  The baked ziti was equally huge and was bubbling hot when they brought it to the table.  The service was ridiculously fast too.

Hash House A Go Go

THIS PLACE!!  My mouth is watering just thinking about this place.  😋😋  I went here this weekend for brunch.  I suggested going some place else, but I'm glad I gave in. For starters, before going I looked at their menu online and noticed they had Indiana themed menu items.  I'm from Indiana, so I figured it was somewhere I needed to visit.  Although one of their Indiana themed dishes was meatloaf and Eggs..  Let me inform my readers, WE DO NOT EAT MEATLOAF WITH EGGS IN INDIANA!  Do not order that dish and then blame it on us when you get the runs later! 😂😂  But I promise the food is delicious, I just wouldn't suggest eating that. I had the scramble with house smoked salmon, basil pesto and melted brie cheese.  I got it with breakfast potatoes and a home made biscuit.  Delicious is not a strong enough word..  Also it was enough food for 3 people.  I also had a spiked kiwi watermelon lemonade to drink instead...
