Dallas/Fort Worth Couples! Block pARTy, Guy Tory, Dollar Night at Lone Star Park, Hookah and Hip Hop!!

Block pARTy on Crockett in Fort Worth!  2941 Crockett St.  It starts at 6pm.  There will be live music, live art and art galleries.

 Guy Tory will be at the Arlington Improv today and tomorrow.  309 Curtis Mathes Way.  Tickets are $17 to $27.  Todays shows are at 7pm and 9:30pm and tomorrows show is at 7:30pm. www.improv.com

The Improv group Samurai Drunk and APB will be performing tonight at the Dallas Comedy House.  2645 Commerce St.  They go on at 9pm and tickets are $8 to $10.

Its Dollar Night at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie.  1000 Lone Star Pkwy.  The fun starts at 5pm.  There will be live racing, live music, and food for purchase.

Its Seductive Saturdays at Mangos Dance Club and Hookah Bar.  207 E. Main St., Richardson.  DJ Diggzwill be spinning real hip hop and real house music and of course you can hookah!

Justin Timberlake is in concert tonight at the American Airlines Center 2500 Victory St, Dallas.  The concert starts at 7 and the tickets are $49.50 to $175.00..  www.ticketmaster.com  for tickets. Rachel Avonne is going to be performing tonight at Buttons Fort Worth, 4701 W. Fwy.  She will be performing from 7:30pm to 10pm.  You can eat, relax and listen to some good music! Luke Wade is performing tonight at 7pm at The Live Oak in Fort Worth, 1311 Lipscomb St.  The cost is $10 to get in. Its Wine Down Wednesdays at Chiladas Fresh Mex Grill in Plano, 6145 Windhaven Pkwy, Suite 120 from 4pm to 7pm.  Glasses of wine are $3. You can have a great time tonight at The Prophet Bar for their open mic!  Enjoy the best in local talent, and DJ Jay Clipp is in the mix, and RC and the Gritz will be performing. Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria/ Nice quaint spot for a first date

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key. I went to a pizzaria on Sunday that I thought would be perfect for a first date so I thought I'd share.  It was called Angelo & Vito's Pizzaria.  Its a Brooklyn styled pizzaria and it seemed great for a first date.  Its at 4520 Frankford Rd.
