Cirque de Burlesque is going to be tonight at the Lakewood Theater.  1825 Abrams Pkwy., Dallas.  Tickets are $20 at the door.  The show starts at 8pm.



The John Adams Trio will be performing tonight at Soho Food and Jazz.  5290 Beltline Rd., Dallas.  They go on about 8:30pm.

Award winning actress Debbi Morgan will be at the Clarence Muse Café Theatre tonight to share her deep and personal memoir about her journey of fear and abuse.    This event will start at 8:15pm and cost $16.50.



There will be a Relationship Q and A for those intellectuals that would rather talk about how they relate to each other rather than party together.  Its at the Hilton Garden Inn at 1001 W. President George Bush Turnpike in Richardson.  It starts at 6:30pm and they will be serving hors d’oeuvres.

Robin Thicke will be performing at Winstar Casino in Oklahoma and the Butler Enterprises is having a caravan to the event in case you would like to go and don’t want to drive.  Its going to be a party bus and tickets to ride on it are $130.  The bus will leave Dallas at 6pm and arrive there at 8pm and they anticipate being back in Dallas at 2am.  For tickets email tickets@butlerenterprises.com.   This price does not include the concert ticket.

This friday I was amongst a group of people and a discussion came up about women who are turned off by going to a place like Applebee's for a first date because its cheap.  My offering to the discussion was that, yes Applebee's for a first date can definitely be a turn off, but that there are other places that you can go for a first date that don't necessarily have to be Capital Grill or Nobu, that will still wow a woman and make for a great first impression.  Like bistro's, or cute little family owned restaurants.  Its not always about money when wowing a woman.  Creativity is key.
